I had an amazing stay at this luxurious and comfortable hotel! The staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and were incredibly friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, with spotless rooms and a beautifully maintained terrace where I could relax with a coffee. The spacious rooms were a pleasant surprise, and the varied breakfast provided was delicious and fresh. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the willingness of the staff to accommodate any requests. my experience at this hotel was outstanding and exceeded my expectations.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience. The location is convenient, being close to a lovely area near the river, the city center, and the Pohorje mountain.

9 miles from maribor edvard rusjan airport. we visited one of our favorite spots maribor island that was in front of the hotel.

Brand new hotel. Fine room: large, good airco, good TV, all new. Nice staff, good English. Easy parking. 6 minutes' drive to town centre.

As opposed to info there was no restaurant. Dinner at 5 minutes' walk at very simple pizzeria.

Super clean rooms, hot and fresh breakfast, helpful staff, spacious rooms, quiet environment, close to family and sports activities.

Cleanliness of whole hotel, comfort

Perfect if you travel by car. It is less than 10 min by car to the center. Car park is no problem. Staff is very kind. Rooms very clean. Good breakfast. Absolutely advisable. Hotel situado a las afueras del centro pero a menos de 10 minutos en coche. Es perfecto si viajas en coche. Tiene parking propio, el personal es muy amable, habitaciones muy limpias y bien equipadas. Desayuno completo. Muy recomendable tanto para parejas como familias.

The hotel was situated close to a lovely area by the Drava river and 'Pohorje' mountain with a fresh ambiance with great views. The hotel facilities were clean and equipped with a big garage for motorcycles. The breakfast was good and abundant and the staff was very cute and friendly. The hotel's location was perfect between two busy streets, easy for us to access shopping centers and transportation via the nearby bus stop.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We can not say enough good things about Hotel Bau. The room was perfect - clean, spacious, with a comfortable bed and internet. Breakfast was simple/traditional, but also very good. The owners were absolutely wonderful, recommending a great place for dinner, offering suggestions for other activities, and were so friendly. Then, after arriving home, we received a note from Simona that we had left some important documents in our room. She graciously sent them to us, and would not accept anything for her cost and trouble. We were already so pleased with our stay at Hotel Bau, this was beyond what we could have expected. We sincerely hope to return to Maribor and stay here again.

This hotel is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to be close to a beautiful area near a river and a mountain. the location is ideal, nestled between two busy streets, yet very calm and tranquil. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and everything is sparkling clean from the bathroom to the bedroom. the breakfast service is fantastic with a great variety of hot and fresh food. the staff is very attentive and will go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. Plus, the terrace is a lovely spot to relax with a coffee.

One minor negative is that the hotel charges for parking, but there is ample space on the premises, which can be frustrating.

The kindness of the staff, the clean environment.

Great location for those who are driving, with ample parking space available. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area, giving great recommendations for things to do in the surroundings. The hotel has a nice lounge area with an open fireplace, creating a cozy atmosphere.

The hotel is not located in the city centre, so it requires driving or taking public transportation to get there. During my stay over New Year's, I found that the breakfast was not as good as it could have been - there were limited vegan options and the quality of the food did not live up to my expectations. Additionally, the heating in the room was not adequate for the colder weather, and I had to use an extra duvet to keep warm.

We stayed in this hotel for one night on our way to Croatia and we liked it so much that we stopped there again on our way back. It is reasonably far from the city center (walking distance), very easy to find. Hotel staff was so friendly and nice that we would like to visit it again if we happen to be in Slovenia again.

Breakfast is kind of limited but I would say it is enough.
